Surgimate Update: COVID-19

Dear Surgimate User,

Wishing you and yours well at this difficult time.

With the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to be transparent in the steps we are taking to mitigate the impact the virus may have on business operations and our ability to provide ongoing support and reliability of our services, we would like to share the following:

1. We do not anticipate any impact on our business operations, and we are operating normally. We have initiated work from home (WFH) policies for all our teams and are set up to continue supporting your practice during these turbulent times.

2. Surgimate ESRM Enhancements:

- Surgimate can add a new cancellation reason (COVID-19) to the list of cancellation reasons on your Surgimate ESRM System. This will enable you and your staff to efficiently track and report on COVID-19 cancellations via the Surgery Search tab. Please have your manager submit a support ticket to support@surgimate.com if our support team has permission to make this addition to your system.

3. Surgimate Practice Enhancements:

- Surgimate can add a new cancellation reason (COVID-19) to support rapid schedule changes, and enable you and your staff to efficiently track and report on cancellations due to COVID-19 via the Overview tab.

- In the coming days, we will deploy a new cancellation reasons dashboard on the Home Page tab. The new dashboard will enable users to conveniently view the number of cancellations by reason, and filter by the date the surgery was cancelled, OR, the date of service initially scheduled for the cancelled surgery. COVID-19 cancellations will appear in RED:

4. Business Continuity

- We are closely following reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and from local government agencies in the states and cities where we operate. We are aligning and continually adjusting our procedures to meet those suggested guidelines while maintaining the highest levels of service.
